Cartier Story started from 1847. Louis-Francois Cartier(1819-1904) took over his master (Adolphe Picard) ‘s store located in 31# Rue Montorgueil, where Cartier was found.
Louis was a talented designer and commercially-minded man with great taste. He devoted himself in production of precious jewelry, watch, and glasses. The exquisite arts and crafts obtained many patents. He realized his talents of design and production in these fields at that time.
